Junior League of Sacramento

SPAC

Since 1971, the State Public Affairs Committee of the Junior Leagues of California has represented the interests of its member Leagues and the groups or issue areas addressed by their projects to policy makers at the State and local levels.  SPAC is composed of two delegates from each of the 16 Junior Leagues, representing over 12,000 women and nearly 100 community projects.  SPAC Junior League Sacramento is represented by a Junior and Senior Delegate and a committee charged with enhancing SPAC’s visibility within the League and our community partner’s organizations.  JLS is responsible for hosting the annual SPAC Spring Conference held in Sacramento

SPAC provides high quality training and hands on opportunities resulting in members who are effective legislative advocates for their Leagues and community partners. SPAC develops and maintains collaborative relationships with legislators, government agencies, nonprofit service providers and issue based organizations. SPAC delegates educate and serve as resources for their League, community projects and programs and local legislators.

SPAC is a non-partisan educational and advocacy organization that takes action on legislation that creates permanent positive change benefiting the projects reflected in the mission of the Junior Leagues of California in the areas of health, education, family support and violence prevention.
