Done in a Day is JLS’s most versatile program. Each year JLS surveys current and potential new community partners to gauge current needs and assess how JLS can assist and fulfill those areas of need.  JLS provides volunteers, materials and other necessary resources to complete critical one-day projects to allow the community organization to focus their main purpose. This year’s Done in a Day projects benefited these organizations:

Empowering Women Holiday Craft Fair

Children’s Receiving Home Giving Angel Tree

Sacramento Food Bank Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution

Sutter Health’s Wellness Fair event

River City Food Bank’s Empty Bowl event

Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Farm-to-Fork Festival

This year JLS has provided:

• 326 volunteer hours
• Services to almost 15,000 adults and families
