In this time of crisis, the health and safety of our JLS staff, members and community partners are our highest priorities.
JLS Events and Meetings
Our organization will continue to follow the State of California’s guidelines on in-person meetings (as a state, not by county). To find what Stage is currently in effect for California; please see covid19.ca.gov/roadmap.
While in Stage 2, there will be no in-person meetings or events. All GMM’s, committee meetings, Board and Management Team meetings will all be virtual. Any community events, affinity groups and other social events must be either done virtually OR at the recommended distance with masks.
Additionally, the JLS Office will not be open for meetings. Our office manager, Christie Zuverink, will have her same office hours and still be of assistance over the phone or through email. If you need to make arrangements to come by the office, please discuss with Christie or the EVP, Jenni Plueard, on proper protocols.
While in Stage 3, some of the meetings and events will be offered as a hybrid. We will offer some in-person options in line with the guidance offered by the State, while continuing to offer remote options to our members.
It will not be until Stage 4 that we return to normal operations with in-person GMM’s, meetings, community events and social gatherings. We miss “seeing” you all in person, but really can’t predict at this time when that will happen. Please be patient with us and look for other ways to connect with fellow League members.

Although our method of service and socializing might look a little different right now, JLS remains committed to serving you and our community in whatever way we can.
