The Junior Leagues' Support Across the State Seen as Critical on Key Women's Health Issue.  The Junior Leagues of California's State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC), working with Assembly Member Pedro Nava (D-Santa Barbara), sponsored Assembly Concurrent Resolution 105 (ACR 105) to designate each May as "Perinatal Depression Awareness Month" in California. The Junior League of Sacramento to host the Junior Leagues of California’s State Public Affairs Committee Spring Conference, April 23-26, 2010.  The Junior League of Sacramento is honored to host the annual Junior Leagues of California's State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) Spring Conference. More than 40 delegates from SPAC's 16 California member leagues will convene in Sacramento from April 23-26, 2010, at the Marriott Residence Inn Capitol Park and the State Capitol. The Conference will conclude on Monday, April 26, with over 100 women participating in SPAC's annual "Day at the Capitol" even. This year's "Day at the Capitol" will feature a roundtable discussion with members of the Assembly Women's Caucus lead by Assembly Member Fiona Ma and updates by several legislators, including Sacramento area Assmbly Member Roger Niello. The Keynote Speaker for the Legislative Luncheon will be Jennifer Kent, Deputy Legislative Secretary, Office of the Governor.  Click here to read the article.

JLS Announces 2009 2010 Board of Directors - February 2009 - Junior League of Sacramento proudly announces the 2009 - 2010 Board of Directors.  These extraordinary women will lead the organization of more than 900 women forward in fulfilling the mission of JLS.  The board will report to Mindi Stewart, the 2009 - 2010 President and becomes official June 1, 2009.  Click here to read the article.

Our 9th Annual Wine and Dine 'til Nine will be held at the Pavilions Shopping Plaza, 563 Pavilions Lane in Sacramento.

River Cats Junior League Fundraiser and Community Outreach Celebration - June 22, 2007
Sacramento River Cats vs. Tacoma Rainiers,  Raley Field at 7:05p.m.

On Friday June 22nd, the JLS partnered with the Sacramento River Cats for an evening of fun and recognition. The River Cats recognized the Junior League of Sacramento for its awareness and leadership in our community. Members of the JLS met on the field prior to the game to accept this recognition on behalf of the JLS, and a video was featured outlining our 65 years of community involvement. Alex Castillo, JLS Sustainer VP, threw out the first pitch of the game! This event raised over $4,000. Thanks to everyone who attended and purchased tickets. Visit the event photo gallery.
